You are cordially invited to the 14th Annual BridgeFest on August 21st from 10-5. Entertainment includes live local music, arts and crafts fair on the old historic bridge, Jr. Alien’s Zone for the kids, Intergalactic Flying Saucer Trials and Mouse Trap Car Races (anyone can join these contests, check out official rules at www.bridgevillecommunitycenter.org), & The 1st Annual Fun Run (free) consisting of 2 mile run or 1/2 mile walk starting at 10:30am. The Run is sponsored by The Six River’s Lion Club. There will be a Raffle and Silent Dutch Auction hosted by the Bridgeville Community Center with valueable prizes from all over Humboldt County, such as an overnight stay for 2 at Benbow Inn and a serigraph by Michael Guerriero. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. BBQ available provided by BVFC. As always parking and admission are free. Please no dogs at this event. Bands include Bridgeville Harp Ensemble, Hearthfire, Melange and other various local artists.
