Knowa Knowone is a musician, creative individual, freelance social worker and community instigator. His influences are based in ancient culture and mysticism being fused with technology, graffiti, and urban life. As a Producer, DJ, Turntablist/Controllerist, HipHop, Breakbeats, Dubstep, and Reggae all fuse together into a style completely individual. Every song and performance is unique, with influences from all over the world, ethnic and tribal layered beats with bass heavy dance floor appeal. Knowa frequently features MCs and live musicians, such as Souleye, SyDeFx, Seasunz and Taylor Maiden Space. His recent releases include the full length album “KnowSleep” co-produced with Sleepyhead, out now on Street Ritual Recordings (SF), and “Free Energy” on Muti Music (SF). He is currently working on collaborations with Mimosa, Souleye, Lynx and Janover, Audiovoid, Beats Antique, Sasha Rose, emerging SoCal Hiphop stars 3rd Borough, and more.

Kitty-D rocks his mid-tempo wobbly bass, haunting melodies, and breaky alien glitch-hop styles with live manipulations and surprises. Sounds that are inspired by life, death, and the unknown; experimenting with sound waves to incite healing, crunk, and emotional madness. This is Kittyology. He started creating music with intention at 7 years old with guitar and keyboards. At 13 he started experimenting with outboard audio equiment and patching cheap keyboards, samplers, drum machines, effects processors, and electric guitars through various recording devices. After going to his first “rave” parties, he was inspired by the possibilities of electronic sounds coming from large quality sound systems, particularly of the subsonic realm. With the evolution of computer audio equipment, he has taken the next step with using computer programs, outboard equipment and an arsenal library of manipulated and self created sounds to initialize a universe of sonic fiction.

DJ T-dUb’s music career started in the early 90’s with a microphone, a mixer, keyboards and a drum machine. After a few years of making hip hop and trip hop beats he began mixing vinyl, starting with happy hardcore and jungle and moving into drum & bass, house, and breaks. His move from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe further evolved his musical style into something unique and ever changing. Over the past few years, T-dUb has played all over the west coast with both local and international DJ’s. He has collaborated with and been inspired by artists such as David Starfire, Ill Gates, and Micah J. Wanting to utilize his knowledge of sound, lighting, and production, T-dUb created Tahoe Breakz in 2006. Tahoe Breakz events take the crowd on a musical journey complete with light, sound, and most recently – video.
