The Billy Nayer Show is a band infused by an entirely unique, internal mythology outside and beyond any trends. The San Francisco born, New York based Billy Nayer Show was created by singer/songwriter/electric autoharpist Cory McAbee and drummer/musical producer Bobby Lurie. For nearly two decades BNS has performed and recorded with over fifty musicians, recorded and released eight full length CDs through their own label BSG Records, performed throughout the world, and created a number of award winning short films. In 2001, the bands first feature length film, a space western musical entitled The American Astronaut, debuted at The Sundance Film Festival. The film was written and directed by Cory McAbee and produced by Bobby Lurie. It features an original soundtrack by BNS. The American Astronaut has gone on to win numerous awards and participate in major film festivals worldwide. It has been translated into six languages and continues to screen theatrically. In 2009 BNS released their second feature film, a space western musical entitled, STINGRAY SAM, which debuted at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. The film was written and directed by Cory McAbee and produced by Bobby Lurie. It was created for viewing on screens of all sizes and features an original soundtrack by The Billy Nayer Show. Stingray Sam has earned many awards participating in major film festivals worldwide, and has become a model in the world of alternative DIY distribution. The film has been translated into eight languages and continues to screen theatrically.

The film premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival as part of the New Frontier program. A dangerous mission reunites STINGRAY SAM with his long lost accomplice, The Quasar Kid. Follow these two space-convicts as they earn their freedom in exchange for the rescue of a young girl who is being held captive by the genetically designed figurehead of a very wealthy planet.

The Monster Women started in early 2004 in the Garage. Aimee & Courtney (both from local Eureka punk band Automatic Pink) joined forces with Gary Silver (Peppyhen Records) and The Monster Women were created! Featured in the Rockumentary, Rural Rock-n-Roll, they’ve had the pleasure of playing with, Deerhoof, Gravy Train, DMBQ, Cemetery Love Club, The Husbands, the Vanishing, Two Ton Boa, Romanteek, Scream Club, Afrirampo, Scout Niblet, Anna Oxygen, Glossines, Barbara Manning, Old Time Religun, Mika Miko, The Slits(yes, the Slits), Imaad Wasiff and many other Great bands along the way.
