Beer and Bread Benefit

What:

Beer connoisseurs and lovers of tasty breads can get their carbohydrate groove on at the 22nd annual Beer & Bread Benefit Friday, March 25th at the Veterans Hall in Arcata.  Local breweries as well as others in Northern California and Oregon will provide hand-crafted specialty beers for the sampling. Tasters’ pallets will be equally pleased by breads and spreads from local bakeries and restaurants provided to compliment the brews.  While sipping and noshing, guests will have a chance to bid on some great auction items from locally owned stores.  All this for just $15 at the door.   Veterans for Peace and the Redwood Peace & Justice Center are collaborating on this fundraiser to help support the work of the GI Rights Hotline. This is a fun and festive way to support a great cause.  Come out on March 25th, 5:30-7:30 at the Vets Hall, 1425 J Street in Arcata, on the corner of 14th and J.   This is a 21 and over event.
