Humboldt Beekeepers Association
What:
The Humboldt County Beekeepers’ Association will meet from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, at the Adorni Center. Dr. Eric Mussen speaks about ongoing honeybee research at UC Davis. Dr. Mussen, the entension entomologist at the University of California Davis, earned his PhD in entomology at the University of Minnesota. He has written many research articles about the impact of bees on agriculture and the impact of fungicides on bees. The October 7 meeting is the last until 2011. The HCBA meets on the first Thursday of each month, February through October, at the Adorni Center, 1011 Waterfront Dr, Eureka. Attendees are asked to contribute $2 apiece toward the room rental and other expenses.
