Wynston Jones, former film instructor, actor and screenwriter, hosts viewing and discussion of classic Hitchcock film.
Based on the novel by Patricia Highsmith, Strangers on a Train combines creepiness with suspense, as two strangers—each with inconvenient family members—discuss “switching murders,” leaving each with an airtight alibi and no motive. The problem is, only one of them is joking. Farley Granger and Robert Walker star, along with Ruth Roman, Leo G. Carroll and director Hitchcock’s daughter Patricia.
