Autumn Art Auction
What:
The Humboldt Arts Council cordially invites the community to attend the Humboldt Arts Council’s Autumn Art Auction on Saturday, September 25th from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Morris Graves Museum of Art. The Autumn Art Auction is one of the HAC’s largest fundraisers of the year, providing over 20% of the annual budget which goes to directly support the Morris Graves Museum of Art as well as the free monthly programs offered to the community.
The evening features local wines, brews and hors d’oeuvres by Dogwood Estate Winery, Elk Prairie Vineyards, Mad River Brewing Company, Six Rivers Brewery, Robert Goodman Wines, Brick & Fire Bistro, Avalon, Bizou, GoGo Bistro, Hurricane Kate’s, Sentinel Winery and Winnett Vineyards; as well as a silent auction featuring the work of over 50 local artists, this evening is sure to be a delightful celebration of the arts.
Tickets to the event are $35 per person with a complimentary MGMA 10th Anniversary Wine Glass. Tickets are available for advance purchase as well as at the door the night of the Auction. To purchase tickets, please contact the Humboldt Arts Council at 707-442-0278, ext. 205.
The Morris Graves Museum of Art, located at 636 F Street, Eureka is open to the public noon-5p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. Museum admission is by donation: $4 for adults, $1 for seniors age 55 and older; HAC Members and children age 12 and under are admitted free. Admission is always free for everyone during each First Saturday Arts Alive!, 6-9 p.m.
