Join Redwood Region Audubon Society on Friday, March 12 for a free public lecture by Charles “Mike” Anderson on “Confessions of a Bird Photographer,” a combined serious/humorous look at photographing birds. Mike, an emeritus HSU environmental resources engineering professor, has had many local bird photography exhibits; has won awards from Audubon Magazine and the Sandhill Crane Festival Art Show (Lodi); and had two photos published in the Friends of the San Pedro River (AZ) 2010 calendar. The talk will start at 7:30 p.m. at the Humboldt County Office of Education at Myrtle and West Avenues in Eureka. Bring a mug to enjoy shade-grown coffee.
