Arcata Theatre Lounge to host “Big Footy” video premiere for Arcata skatepark benefit
Arcata, Calif. November 16, 2009 — The Humboldt skateboarding community along with local businesses are coming together on Friday, December 4th at the Arcata Theatre Lounge for the video premiere of “Big Footy” —a skateboarding video by Ampt skateboarding shop. The doors will open at 6pm and the video begins at 8pm. Tickets are available at the ATL door for $6.
This event will assist the fund raising effort to enhance and modernize the Arcata skatepark.
There will also be a raffle for skateboard supplies and clothing. Everyone in attendance gets a free ticket and additional tickets will be available for $1. Bring the kids because there will also be a product toss —free skateboard goods and supplies will be tossed into the crowd!
Working through local businesses like AMPT skateboard shop, Greenhouse board shop and Central Skates, as well as the City of Arcata’s Parks and Recreation department we have organized similar events in the past to raise awareness, political support and funds for the skatepark.
