Arcata High School Career & College Center Pancake Breakfast

What:

Arcata High School students with an eye toward their futures have a valuable
resource, the on-campus Career and College Center. The center helps students
in choosing careers, choosing colleges and in applying for colleges and
scholarships. Surprisingly, the center existence relies solely on donations,
grants and fund-raisers such as the Pancake Breakfast scheduled for
Saturday, December 12, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Arcata High
School Multi-purpose room.

Sponsored by Arcata Rotary, Arcata Sunrise Rotary, Arcata Soroptimist Club
and Arcata High School’s Interact Club, the menu includes a variety of
pancakes, featuring the incomparable Hunt Family Sourdough pancakes, organic
gourmet corn and oat pancakes servied with scrambled eggs a la Filar and
choice of pork or vegetarian sausages and the ever popular Soroptimist
fruit-cup. Beverages include Kinetic Koffee, a selection of teas, milk, and
orange juice. Served by celebrity servers, HSU president Rolling Richmond, *
Northern* Humboldt Union High School District board member Sari
Toste,  Arcata
mayor Mark Wheetley and others.

Adults, $8. The discounted rate of $5 is offered to age 18 and under,
Seniors (over age 60) and all students including HSU and CR.
