What:
Coming up on Saturday and Sunday, December 10th and 11th, the Mateel Community Center in Redway will celebrate Honky Tonk Holidays for the 35th anniversary of the Winter Arts Faire. Featuring nearly 60 handmade artisan booths, delectable country-style cuisine, diverse musical entertainment, children’s storytelling, and a visit from Santa both days (12-3pm), the Winter Arts Faire is also the best holiday shopping opportunity in southern Humboldt and supports local creative vendors, handcraft artisans, and non-profit organizations.
The 35th annual Winter Arts Faire will be open from 10am to 6pm both days, and costs only $3 per day. Mateel Community Center members get in free, as do those under 12 and over 65. Mateel memberships will be available at the door for those wishing to take advantage of the free admission offer. Winter Arts Faire will also be a drop off location for Toys For Tots, and attendees are encouraged to bring donations for this great Kiwanis club program. Please bring only new, unwrapped toys.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Humboldt Time, SoHum Girls, Ambush (acoustic), Frisky Brisket, Garberville Town Band, Seabury Gould, Jefferson Parson, and others.
For more information call 923-3368 or visit www.mateel.org and come share in the spirit of Honky Tony Holidays at the 35th annual Winter Arts Faire on Saturday and Sunday, December 10th and 11th.
