Alzheimer’s Resource Center Volunteer Training to be held February 15th, 2012.

The Alzheimer’s Resource Center is offering volunteer training on Wednesday, February 15th, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you are a community member who wants to make a difference in the lives of people who are living with dementia and other disabilities, please consider volunteering with the Adult Day Health Care and Alzheimer’s Resource Centers. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available from clerical support to socializing with participants.  

 

Volunteers are an integral part of the Adult Day Health Care and Alzheimer’s Resource Center programs. Typically, our volunteers commit to at least one-year of service, have a regular schedule, and attend four volunteer meetings each year. Volunteers receive training and support throughout their service.

 

Volunteering is a rewarding and enriching experience. If you are interested, please go online at www.humsenior.org  for a volunteer application or call at 444-8254 ext 3220.
