CHAMBER OFFERS WORKSHOP ON ADA LAW COMPLIANCE

* *ADA law is complex, but California law now provides new tools to help businesses and employers reduce the risks associated with ADA/CBC accessibility lawsuits and bring their facilities into compliance. This seminar will address risk management and prudent measures businesses and commercial property owners should take when addressing specific disability access issues that relate mainly to site and building accessibility at business premises.

In an ongoing effort to inform and protect business members, the Eureka Chamber of Commerce hosts an ADA Law Compliance Workshop featuring Craig Williams, Certified Access Specialist and Architect. The workshop is sponsored by The Times Standard and The Red Lion Hotel.

The Workshop will be held on Friday, February 12, 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Red Lion Hotel, Humboldt Bay Room. Reservations are highly encouraged as space is limited in each session and payment is requested by February 1 to confirm a reservation. Reservations may be made by calling the Chamber at 442-3738. Cancellations must be received by February 4.

Prices for the valuable session are $25 for current Members of the Chamber and $35 for non-members. A Breakfast buffet is included in the fee.
