6th Annual Artists’ Challenge

What:

The 6th Annual Artists’ Challenge will be at The Ink People for December 2009 Arts Alive! Every year brave Humboldt County artists attempt to create 15 original pieces of art within a single month. Come and see what these local warriors of brush, pen, and lens have dreamed up for discerning holiday shoppers in 2009!

Come by our gallery between 6-9pm on Saturday, December 5th Arts Alive!, and look at hundreds of original pieces made by local Humboldt County artists. Want first pick from the artwork before your favorite artists sell out? Early Bird Pre-Sale to be held from 5pm-6pm with a $10 entry fee to get first pick of the artwork before Arts Alive! on Saturday. Entry is free after 6pm. If you are looking for fine art at affordable prices, this is your chance! All pieces priced by size ($30 for 5” x 7”, $45 for 8” x 11”, & $60 for 11” x 14”) making this a great way to buy local handmade art for the holidays or for your own personal collection!

This annual fundraiser benefits The Ink People, participating artists, and for 2009 The Coffee Opp DreamMaker Program. Gallery is open Tuesday-Saturday from 11-5pm for viewing. Show closes on DEC 12th at 5pm.
