week.Richmond on HSU Campus Fiscal Emergency: The campus is potentially looking at $12-$16 million in budget cuts, so HSU President Rollin C. Richmond is taking action: No new equipment (almost), only essential travel for profs and profs-to-be (and recruitment), because they actually have to reduce enrollment, summer school will be treated as Extended Ed (but they're apparently still spending money on recruitment), and the Provosts, Deans and VPs have vowed to voluntarily reduce their expenditures.
